TRW & Co/Accessibility statement

Accessibility statement

We want everyone who needs legal information about Bangladesh to be able to use trw.co, whatever their abilities, device or connection. This accessibility statement explains the standard we work to, what we have done, where we know we fall short, and how to tell us about a problem.

Last updated 24 October 2026

Our commitment and target standard

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. WCAG 2.2 is published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) and was approved in October 2025 as the international standard ISO/IEC 40500:2025.

We treat accessibility as a continuing process rather than a one-off project. We have not yet commissioned an independent audit, so we do not claim full conformance. This statement reflects our own review and the work in progress described below.

What we have done and are working on

We aim to build and maintain the site so that:

  • you can reach links, menus, forms, tabs and tool controls with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus indicator;
  • text and important interface elements have enough colour contrast, and information is not conveyed by colour alone;
  • the site respects your device's reduced-motion setting by turning off or reducing non-essential animation;
  • images that carry meaning have text alternatives, and decorative images are hidden from screen readers;
  • pages use headings, landmarks and lists in a logical structure, and form fields have labels and clear error messages;
  • content reflows on small screens and when zoomed to 200% or more, without loss of content;
  • page language is set correctly, including on our Bangla, Chinese, Hindi, Arabic and Spanish pages, with right-to-left layout for Arabic;
  • interactive targets such as buttons and links are large enough to use comfortably on touch screens.

Articles have a "Listen" button, which reads the page aloud using your browser's built-in speech voices, and a print option. We are working to test key journeys, such as using the legal tools and booking a consultation, with keyboard-only navigation and common screen readers.

Known limitations

We know some parts of the site may not yet be fully accessible:

  • Embedded maps: Google Maps embeds are provided by Google, and we cannot fully control their accessibility. Our address is always given as text, with a link to open the map on Google's site.
  • Documents: some documents we host or link to, such as scanned forms, statutes and gazettes, may not be tagged for screen readers, may be image-only, or may contain imperfect Bangla text recognition.
  • Animations: some decorative animations may still play where the reduced-motion setting has not yet been applied consistently.
  • Listen button: its availability, voice and language support depend on your browser and device.
  • Complex tools: some interactive tables, timelines and calculators may be harder to use with assistive technology or on very small screens.
  • Third-party content: pages opened from SSLCommerz, WhatsApp or external official sites are outside our control.

If you need information from any of these in another format, please ask. We will try to provide it, for example as accessible text, a plain-language summary or by telephone.

Compatibility

The site is designed to work with recent versions of major browsers on desktop and mobile, and with commonly used screen readers and magnification software. It should remain usable with browser zoom, custom text sizes and high-contrast modes. Some older browsers may display pages differently.

Feedback and requests for help

If you find a problem using trw.co, or need content in a different format, please tell us:

  • Email: info@trw.co, with "Accessibility" in the subject line
  • Telephone: +880 1708 000660
  • Post or in person, by appointment: House 410, Road 29, Mohakhali DOHS, Dhaka 1206, Bangladesh

It helps if you tell us the page address, what you were trying to do, and the device, browser and any assistive technology you were using. We aim to acknowledge accessibility feedback promptly and to give you a fuller response, or the information you need in another way, as soon as we reasonably can.

If you have a disability and would like adjustments to attend a consultation, such as extra time, a meeting by video or telephone, or a particular format for documents, please let us know when you book.

Our offices

Visits to our office at Mohakhali DOHS are by appointment, Saturday to Thursday, 09:00 to 20:00. If you have access needs for an in-person meeting, please tell us in advance so we can discuss arrangements, or arrange a video or telephone meeting instead.

If it would help, please ask us to send appointment confirmations, letters or documents in another format, such as larger print or plain-text email. We will do what we reasonably can.

Legal context

In Bangladesh, the Rights and Protection of Persons with Disabilities Act 2013 recognises the right of persons with disabilities to access information. Visitors from other countries may have rights under their own laws.

We follow WCAG 2.2 AA as our benchmark because it is the most widely recognised international standard for web accessibility.

Review of this statement

We plan to review this statement regularly, and when we make significant changes to the site. As we fix the limitations listed above, we will update this page. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last updated.
